From enrolled to certified, on the record.
Structured programs that end in a credential, where the completion record is the product, and it has to hold up when someone asks for proof.
Organizations running certification tracks, onboarding programs, or skills academies.
What usually brings people here.
These are the problems this audience arrives with. If more than one lands, the rest of this page is worth reading.
Certification status scattered across an LMS, a CRM, and someone's inbox
No versioning, so nobody knows which curriculum a past cohort actually took
Grading that happens in one system and gets retyped into another
Cohorts managed by hand every intake
The capabilities that carry this.
Pulled from the platform inventory. Every item below is something training and certification programs lean on directly.
Purpose-built course types
Choose Certifiable, Training, Open-Ended Learning, or Learning Path when creating a course. Each type controls completion, retakes, certificates, and reporting behavior.
Learning paths
Combine courses into a larger program and require learners to complete them in sequence. A certificate can be awarded for the path as well as for each course within it.
Scoring and review controls
Automatic scoring for supported question types and manual review for essays or uploads. Lock scores until review, and control when students may see correct answers or review prior responses.
Accurate completion records
A learner is not marked complete because they reached the final page. Completion can depend on required activities, assessments, minimum study time, attendance, acknowledgments, and waiting periods.
Dynamic certificates
Design platform-level or course-specific certificates with rich formatting, signatures, static legal text, and dynamic student, course, completion, and regulator data.
User and role management
Create student, administrator, and manager accounts. Use groups to assign roles, permissions, client access, and administrative responsibilities.
Revision and release control
Create draft revisions without immediately changing the published course. Review change history, publish updates immediately, or schedule a future release date.
Operational insight
Use enrollment, activity, performance, completion, certificate, credit, survey, and regulatory reporting data to understand learner and program performance.

Not quite your shape?
Most programs straddle two of these. The overlap is usually the interesting part.
